MLK Community Celebration and Service Project
Join us for a multigenerational program of celebrational poetry, music, spirituality, and speakers hosted by SFUU honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. After the program, a simple healthy brunch will be served before heading out to the community gardens for a work party to assist in the Community Garden at the School Park Preserve and other park-related service work that needs our care. All generations welcome, whatever your age and abilities, we will provide details as the event approaches. This is a time for families to gather together to help extend community connections and celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through community service to do our part in fulfilling the dream. For more information, contact Reverend Wendy Bartel at revwendyb@mysfuu.org.
