Delegates to our General Assembly in June adopted a Statement of Conscience for our religion saying that 'we believe all people share a moral responsibility to create peace.' Inspiring words, but how do we respond to that? Today we'll reflect on some of the paths to peace and what they call for from each of us.

Love is the 'Mother of All Emotions.' Join me in exploring the many ways individuals in our culture express the emotion we label as love. Through the use of poetry, philosophy, biblical scripture, and personal experience, we will explore the human capacity to experience the love of a spouse, a friend, and most importantly, the love of self.

Creating peace calls for action in our world, in our society, in our congregation, in our relationships, and within ourselves. The recently passed UUA Statement of Conscience invites reflection on 'What can I do to create peace? What can we do to create peace?' Come join us on the way of peace!
